Another option that is becoming more popular is remote tuning.
I'm pretty certain my local tuner would be down to tune your 2.4 with HPT over the net, aslong as its a mustang dyno/inertia one.
He does great work; all my tunes are conservative and are optimized for street use, low throttle fuel efficiency and reliable top end power.
Some tuners are ****, and just delete all your P codes/errors and go for big numbers, but if you look at the graph/powerband, it's fucked! with spikes (engine knock) You want a smooth graph.
no point in building an ecotec for high horse power, that's not the motors strong point. You want that sweet flat useable torque.
Make sure your tuner has expierience with ecotecs, our motors are at their sexiest when they carry that torque all the way through the powerband.

what they mean is that you get the software, log or record your pull by yourself or a dyno, and send the file (email) to the tuner, he will send the file back modified for the car, you put it in yourcar yourself or take it to the dyno to put in, log the new results and send the file back to the tuner..... and you know the rest of the cycle.
your are done till the car is good to go to drive and/or you are satisfy with the results.
PS: i might have missed something

I can help you out and i'm fairly local, on these cars i'd almost prefer to street tune for drivability reasons, I had to change a couple things on Doming's car (DFZ24) from the ZZP tune to make it drive nice, before I could even get into tuning for power. Things that don't show up on the dyno/WOT.

You could come up to palm beach and get a Trifecta street tune from us, or you can buy or rent a cable from us and flash and log the tune yourself and get updated tunes via email.
Actually I just read you were looking for a dyno tune, we offer that as well. We can do a Trifecta tune on the dyno for $350 total including the dyno time.
