ok so what is the best bang for your buck header wise? i plan on doing headers first on my car and than work into dp and cat-back. but since i'm considering a custom cat-back i think the dp would be almost useless and a waste of money since they would be cutting my dp for the cat-back. i'm looking for the most HP and torque i can possibly get for a reasonable price.

i've been looking at the ZZP short header and midlength header. also i've been looking at the JBP vortex header. but i d/k if i want to spend that much money. so could someone please let me know your input thanks ahead of time

 

i heard nothing but great things from clear image automotive. thats where i bought my header and dp, just waitin for it to get here.

 

about how much you spend on it and what gains can you expect from it?

ya thats what i was looking at getting with the cat. but like how i said before if i were to get a custom e3xhaust from an exhasut shop would they cut part of my downpipe off?

 

i bought the header dp and tune all at the same time and i upgraded my header and dp to be coated with chromex, so after everything it was like 1000some

and im tryin to get a before and after dyno.. so when it finally all said and done ill try to let u kno what gains it was

 

no they wont i got the zzp mid header and dp with highflow cat with the 3 inch hahn and never did any cutting

 

ya i saw that chromex stuff, i don't think i'll be doing that for mine. i don't really care too much for looks even tho that might help a little seeing as how it's polished buit not enough to me to spend that much extra.

well i heard that for custom set ups they do cut the DP. i know the kits you buy won't but ya.

and aren't u losing some power w/ that 3" exhaust?
