2.4 SC questions

I'm boosting 3-4 lbs on stock pulley right now. I think I read somewhere about doing something that will limit you to 3-4 lbs of boost and if you undo it you will be at full boost. What do you do to get full boost, cause I'm pretty sure 3-4 lbs is lower than what I should be getting on a stock pulley.

2nd question, what's the size of the bolts that connect the lower intake manifold mount to the engine block? I went to the parts store and couldn't find a bolt that fit. So I had to duck tape the end of 2 bolts that were slightly smaller in order for it to screw into the engine block

the bottom nipple on the bypass actuator should not be connected to anything. If it is blocked off, or connected to a vacuum line, it will limit boost to around 5psi.

The bolts are all metric, most being 1.25 thread. I'd try M8 x1.25 first. IDK how long they are though... If that isnt it, then try M9 then M10 etc. till you find the correct size, but it shouldnt be much larger

I'm pretty sure the bolt size is M9. At the hardware store M10 was too big and M8 was too small, but they didn't have M9

This was going to be one of my questions down the road. The bypass has 2 lines... the top one goes to (tell me here ) and I see now the bottom one shouldn't be blocked off or connected to anything, it should be open?

So I disconnected the bottom one (it was running to that nipple on the intake manifold that I run to my boost gauge. Now I'm boosting 7 or 8 and slowly climb up to 9, and WOW this car is alive now. Thanks a bunch hunterkiller!

top goes to the superharger. Its an incredibly short line, couple inches, and you should see a nipple built onto the supercharger for it to attach to.

glad i could help scotty
