2.4 SS Exhaust

I am going to buy an exhaust system for my 2.4 SS. I do not have an intake. What exhaust would you choose? And put some audio/video clips of exhausts of 2.4's, because all I hear is 2.2 & 2.0. Thanks alot.

i like the magnaflow exhaust because its not loud or ricey, and it wont be too loud unless you get on it, then it has a nice deep tone

might sound a littly raspy in the clip b/c i was using a shitty recorder and it was fairly close to the exhaust

I went magnaflow universal. Sounds great without intake and it's pretty cheap.

dont get an exhaust till you have a few more mods. you wont experience a boost in performance if you are still stock

Yeah go with what savior said, if you want any kind of gain from an exhaust AT LEAST start with an aftermarket CAI or short ram

No offense but thats too ricey for me, but I do like the lower RPM's. Just when you let off the gas it sputters and all that ricey crap. Is there a way to get rid of that anyone?

that'll happen untill it breaks in. mine did that when the car was stock for the first few hundred miles. and again after the res was out.

you can always have your cats gutted....a look under the car at that point will make it look legal. As for sound, i really have no idea, but if they aeroturbine makes a muffler that you could put on a custom some how....do it.
http://stevus.is-a-geek.com/MRT_Exhaust.wmv it's deeper and louder in person...i dono if it'd have the same effect on your car but god damn it sounds tight. got 9rwhp too, that was nice!
