hey dumb **** i never said it wouldent work but the only way to do it correctly is to use the lsj reluctor if your putting it in a ss/sc or a redline as the start and stop points on the reluctor is different on the lsj pcm then on the le5 that is why fullthrottle was showing -12 timing and the car with the lef reluctor wheel and the car wouldent run for **** because of that
It's in, it works, it's reliable, now **** off.
Piping, hoses, fittings, t-bolts, all that **** I get for free. Sell my header ($400) and injectors ($100) and the $1,100 is perfectly doable.
You don't need to spend alot of money of your smart and know what your doing.
ehh a low end name brand turbos still gonna be 800~ and still be bottom of the barrell/a reliable wg is gonna be 250-300.
Only thing I'd cheap out on is ic piping, ic, and bov prob. **** i use ebay intercooler and during pulls see sub iat1, iat2 temps on 15psi and prob 20deg above afterwards till it cools
.

Garrett T3/T04 is $700, from a genuine Garrett dealer, sure its a base model turbo, but again this is a 300whp build, not a 1000whp build.
Injectors are 200, fuel pump is 100, bov is ~100, manifold is 150, wastegate is 250, ic is 75
Add that up and its $1,575 bucks, minus the $500 I can recoup from selling my header and current injectors and the total is right at $1,100.
So where is the problem here?
And did it work? Yes.
Was I right? Yes.

Well found my turbo stuff.
Picking up next weekend.
Gonna shoot for 375-400whp on 91 pump and meth injection, stock bottom end.
I'll start a build thread once I get the parts.
See you guys in the 11's.

Ya ignore all that **** above, that was from many moons ago, I bumped an old thread.
Fuel pump will be dealt with via a Racetronics unit for a GM W-Body (ie. Grand Prix), good to 600hp they say, should be fine.
