2.4 to the TC

Im not quite sure where to put this thread, so mods move as needed.

I test drove a TC today and I loved every minute of it. It was such a nice drive, felt great in handling and in power. Now the only thing is I have a 07 2.4 and I dont think I will be able to keep both . So what I'm kinda of doing is seeing if there is any interest in a 2.4 2007 with 42XX miles, never driven in the snow, ive modded a few things, I have all the original parts, it was never raced or beaten, kept inside during the winter, has been well taken care of with polishing and waxing. Like I said, its not for sale yet but if the right offer comes along Ill definitely listen to whats being offered. Let me know what ya think about trading in for the 09 TC. Thanks!

So are you talking about the Scion TC or the SS/TC?

oh good, I would go for it. I consider doing this myself but I owe about as much as I'll get for the 2.4L and I don't have anything to put down for the SS/TC not to metion my insurance would skyrocket.

My wife's car (the black SS/SC) has 54,000 and we bought in in July 07!

She drive's 65 miles each way to work though..

Do not buy a Scion TC... go drive the new SS, WRX, or the Lancer RALLIART or the Speed3 (yes, yes, yes).

You can get a lot of car for just a bit more money (or maybe even less if you're going used) than the tC.

Hell, you could pick up a low mileage 07 SS/SC for a lot less than a tC.

Anyhow, don't be discourage - don't know what you owe, but some 2.4's are doing okay:

(That's not mine, btw.)

Sell, then buy. Trade in =

If you can't sell for more than you owe, just keep paying down every month til you can.

Depending on your interest rate, and if you're in 'better condition' now than before, you may actually pay less... but never straight up trade in, less you hate your $$.
