Whaaa? Are you talking F35, or is the 4t45e upgrades you have been working on finally ready?

I'm a potential customer if the 4t45e comes available, just need to hash out a viable shipping option to Canada

To the OP:

Raybestos clutch packs, braized fin torque converter and carbon fiber TCC, LSD! LSD! LSD!, cryo some hard parts, get your channels reamed out in the valve body and slip some 65 valves in there, and of course the rebuild kit for new gaskets and ****.

F23, stronger than the f35 can ever be without an aftermarket tranny case.

How much? with LSD?

I'd love to go 5spd, but my spidey senses tell me it would be a few 100 hours to dial it in and work out the kinks. I like all this stuff, but don't want to walk in the in between time.

IPT 4t45e:

What we do is use the customers existing transmission as a core for the full performance build, that's what the pricing on the website reflects.

1) IPT Performance FULL transmission build. $2975
2) IPT Performance FULL torque converter build. $419

We would give you a $200 credit towards the shipping. *For Canadians, yanks get free shipping.

Yes Raybestos and Borg Warner clutches.

Everything is included in the torque converter build.

1.Does the full tranny rebuild include a Limited Slip Differential, or is that extra and how much? Makes no sense to have all that work done for an open diff. No,but we can install one what whatever the cost of the part is $695

2. What kind of turn around time do you require to complete my tranny? Turn around time is appox 5 day's,if we are doing the LSD we would need one extra day

IPT Performance Transmissions | Performance Parts | Torque Converters

Going to do this, god willing back to work on Monday and I can start the prep work.

Yeah, if I got to keep my original that price would be easier to swallow. Considering I've got to pay freight both ways it is going to be $4500...but IPT knows their **** and i simply wouldn't trust one of the generic tranny chains around here to even know that anything outside oem rebuilds even exist.

ZZP never replied to my email inquiry, thats a first out of probably 50+ questions I've asked them.

I do however, recall them mentioning it here on cobaltss sometime last year in response to a post of mine. Said it would be good for 100 extra HP IIRC.

I don't have many posts, maybe I'll do a quick scan and see what was actually written by ZZP.

Id be game if zzp or itp sold the high performance rebuild kit. I got a few buddies here in stl that build trans for performance applications and would rebuild my trans for the price of a 30 pack. So for me to pay zzp or itp to build and ship one of these trans is just stupid.

What's the word on this? how's it doing for ya?
From reading this my understanding is that you shipped your tranny their and they built it?

Not done yet, my plan was always to wait until this coming summer after I'm fully built. I've gone back and forth with it, I could do their rebuild kit and a rebuilt converter for $900 and have a tranny expert build it for me after I pulled it, but it will still only be as strong as its weakest part, where if I spend the cash and give it to the IPT pros it will cost out my a$$ but come back bullet proof and good for 400hp. I only aspire for 300, so it should last for years and years either way but I like the idea of the LSD and a fully reworked valvebody and hardened parts.

Yup my tranny is down again so I'm looking into this option as just buying their entire tranny from them... Talked to Jon at IPT yesterday said that there's a lot more that goes into it than just using there rebuild kit on the tranny. and that it would fail if just using those parts. the actual tranny comes with a 1 year 12,000 mile warranty as well...

Didn't know about the warranty, good stuff. Once I've gone through the effort of pulling it I'll most likely bite the bullet and ship it freight.

What happened anyways?

IPT doesn't offer a warranty after your trans takes a dump... Just an FYI not to go with IPT as they will **** you over royally!
