4t65 is gonna require a lot of fab work, I talked to a trans shop about doing it and they said it would be a lot of **** you would have to do, I also have the GM book on how they built there 4t65 that's in the time attack cobalt.

4th transmission...

The only thing that scares me about ZZP's trans is that it's not even the one that's in Matt's car... They bought that one from Bates. Which tells me they didn't have enough confidence in getting them to build them one to sustain the power. If they put that in Matt's car and he made passes on it down the track then they would have my tranny the next day..

4 trannys is pretty serious, how much hp sauce are you running?

zzp told me their 45 was good for 100hp over stock, whatever that means. I assume 400ish, given their stage 3 turbo puts 300whp and the stock trannys live with it.

No idea on my power. Guessing at least 250 (i hang with my buddies 3.0 E85 cobalt SS - virtual dyno at 274)

What fails on a stock trans?

A guy that manages a kennedy trans place said that HHR SS's have the 4t45 but they have better parts in the trans. (He owns a HHR SS also - thats auto)
