i have the CA downpipe, it was a direct fit on both sides, stock mani and aftermarket catback... header should be the same, direct bolt on, no modifications

Please, everyone do me a favor... 3 things:

1. Please don't listen to advertised gains
2. Understand that there is not a BEST of anything when it comes to performance. It's all personal opinion.
3. No one can tell you how much power you'll gain cause every engine is different and will react to a change/modification differently.

As far as my suggestion, get whatever but just stay with a 2 1/4" exhaust system. You don't need any bigger...but this is my opinion of course.

Iam not getting that info from advertisement 3 of my buddies have my same car all 3 dynoed and had and average of about 12hp

1 of my buds even got 12.4hp out of the thing

anyway what kind of gains could i expect from a header and downpipe ??? because i may have to put off the purchase of the catback until i get more money and i want the most performance for the time being

any idea???

I think the zzp or cobalt addiction is your best bet for gains and price 500 hun and 20hp is what most are getting, our admin dynoes his gm catback at 14hp

Keyword is average.

Just making a point that just cause they have gained whatever amount of horsepower, that you won't gain exactly that number and when people say you will, it's misleading.

when i get my 2.4 SS i will be doing with the GMPP exhaust with the CA header which gives 10whp and the header is prolly around the same. our cars repsond well to a good high flow cat dp. so im gonna go on a limb and say header, downpipe, exhaust prolly around 20-30whp..if that. but still not bad. but i would go with the CA stuff. they make good stuff and being a local to the shop i see it all made..good stuff rite there.
