I have a 2005 Cobalt 2.2L coupe. I recently installed the 2.4 intake manifold and was thinking of upgrading to a 2.4L Throttle Body. I have a 8 pin harness connector to my 2.2L TB. I am looking at purchasing a 2.4TB, GM # 12580195 from a 2006 2.4 SS. It is also a 8 pin connector.

Here is my question. Will the 2.2L connector plug into the 2.4L TB connector without any wire splicing etc. Secondly, does anybody with a 2006 2.4 TB can tell me the colour of the wires on top(4) and on the bottom(4)of the plug in connector. I would like to compare to my harness to see if they are the same.

You will need a tune to run it if it works. You will need the throttle body settings rescaled.
