2.7 pulley... how much boost?
2.7 pulley... how much boost?
just curious as to how much boost. preferably in total kpa reading that your map sensor is reading up to stock redline (6850rpm)
im reading approx 225kpa, which is about 15 psi.. is that right??

sounds correct to me. Ultimately it will depend on your setup and how well your motor flows, but the 2.4 will see less boost per pulley size when compared to the 2.0 or 2.2 always. 3.0 pulley saw 9-11psi depending on atm conditions on mine(and many others), so .3" less pulley I would expect 12-14 roughly.

No one can tell u what a 2.7 pulley should be "boosting" at. There are to many variables that will alter the number (modifications, elevations, location, temperature, etc). You want your boost as low as possible when you pulley down. The lower it is, the more efficient your setup is. Remember boost is a measure of restriction (wow I have to state this a lot), and high boost levels do not mean big power.
OMG I'M FREAKING OUT!!!! AAAAAAAHHHHHHH THIS BOOST THAT BOOST EVERYONE CALM THE F*CK DOWN
I wonder how pissed staged07 would be if i put 17psi in my sig with 2.79 pulley

~~~~~~>that's how much boost is from a 2.79 bwaahhahahahahahahaha
It may be irrelevant to you, because you are so smart, but maybe the OP thinks his cat is clogged, and he's seeing too high of readings. Or maybe he just wants to see if his 2.7 on his LE5 is in the correct range, and yes, there is a RANGE for each motor that should be acceptable per pulley. If he came in here stating 22psi on a 2.7/LE5 we would quickly all jump in and say that's too high and there is a restriction somewhere. Would you say his numbers are irrelevant then?! You are correct with all your facts, but maybe some people just want to know what others with an M62 on their LE5 see for boost...
There really is no based boost for pulley because i can clogg my cat up on a stock pulley and i bet you ill at least getup to 18 lbs of boost lol, lets do it ricers ha ha ha ha ha lol. j/k. but yeah bro if you want more power go to all mods you can get tune, and a 2.8 pulley or in my case built motor so i went to a 2.6.
if he has a m62, intake and supporting mods i say he will see around 15-18 lbs just saying...
