2 down 1 to go for turbo

Got my carbon fiber rk sport hood on to give me some ram air and under hood cooling for my turbo setup, intake will be custom directed toward scoop when turbo is installed, but right now this hood is awesome and i can definately feel some extra pickup at higher speeds.

enjoy the pics

thanks, sorry the cars dirty right now but i gave it a quick wipe down for pics, i was surprised that the part of the hood closest to the windshield has a rise in it i guess to let some hot air out so im overall very pleased with it.

How does the 'functionality' of the hood look? Does the Injen fit in exactly the same spot as the GMPP intake - would it be more functional with a box built around it so that your main source of air was from the hood?

well i think the gmpp intake and injen are right about the same area and as far as a box goes im not sure if it would benefit so much from a stop, i can feel a slight increase in pickup at higher rpms though so this way must be working pretty good. its not a huge concern for me since ill be turbocharged on march 24th but the slight benefit and idea is cool.

Plus it looks bad ass, ftw. Didn't mention that before, but that CF looks really nice, should go for a CF bowtie .

Thumbs down

it looks goo BUT you have rain water on the underside of your hood. looks to me like it's going to get into that air filter down that into your cylinders and that = no good!

well ive driven in the rain a few times and checked under the hood and it was dry in the scoop box so i think all that salt stuff is just splashing up from below
