AEM ..... Injen.... or K&N

I'm still trying to decide between which intake for my 2.4, I've narrowed it down to AEM, Injen, and K&N but still not sure which to go with. I want a short ram and also want the shield, is the only one that sells it with it is K&N? Not sure what to do, I'd appreciate the advice. Thanks.

Any reason why you don't want a full CAI?

it's all preference, there's really no difference. go with which ever one is in your price range.

I have an AEM myself - no problems with it. Sounds nice too.

the Ingen by far looks the best and you can do short ram or cold air!

GMPP is $247 at CED I believe...not out of the "ballpark" when compared to the aftermarket intakes.
IMO the GMPP is the best looking, of course others have a different opinion....but they're wrong

But do none of them have the shield? I live in Florida and it floods when you spit so I want protection from the water, even if it is just a little bit. Does Injen carry the only one that can be a SAI and a CAI with just a simple quick change? Or does AEM too?

one time, proven by who, the company that sells it? you NEVER go by the dyno numbers the company gives, do you think they're going to give an average #, or the highest number they ever got one time? they all give pretty much the same hp #'s.

get the advancedjdmparts.com intake.. i think about 3 or 4 of us 2.4 guys just bought it and are gonna try it out. it used to be 29.99 now its 49.99 comes out to 60 somethin total.. from past experience im never spending over 100 for piping and a filter anymore, an intake is an intake and this one is very well made for $60

yea the injen one i believe can be SRI or a CAI but a CAI is going to give u the most gains but probably nothing really noticeable.. if your really worried about it gettin wet just go with a SRI.. i have injen for my ss/sc and havnt a problem

Okay, I'm sold on getting the Injen intake. Now, where's the best place to get it from? Also, do you have to take off the front bumper to take out the resonator? I've heard that you have to take off the bumper or you can take the front wheel off and just take off the inner fender well. Which is easier and just better to do overall?

Take the headlight and headlight mount out and you can do everything though that hole.
