Yeah but u can still be real quick on low boost. I was at 250 whp on my stock n/a exhaust, bad tune(knocking) and map sensor blowing off. Now I've added alot and I'll be dynoing next week some time. But yo if u build the motor u can do just about anything.
If I could of had my way with the twins engine jaws would have dropped but money is a limtiation so were going to do it mild but should still make really good power.
Duece I doubt it.
Shadow the LSJ is an extremely effcient engine, there head flows more air the L61 does by a significant amount(hence why LSJ headswaps are common on high hp build, moremeat to port also). It also suffers less frictional hp loss. Just because an engine is bigger doesn't mean it flows well and hp is flow and effciency. But if built right the L61 can rival or surpass(funds dependant) a LSJ we have compression and .2 liters on our side. But there are 327hp N/A LSJ race engines in England.
Oh and SSflah there is a TVS 2.4 sedan here in Houston a friend of Xander and I both.

JBP does but they're crap. and tuning the VVT is supposedly the same thing as getting cams. There's a guy with a yellow g5 gt that says his HPT tuner tuned his intake side of his VVT or whatever the correct wording is for that lol and he said he saw gains on a N/A motor.
his name is hot-pursuit or something like that. not sure how much truth there is to that or if i got it wrong this was like a month or two ago.
josh drives a cavi, but has crazy experience with cavi ecotech engines. and he is our eco god here in houston lol
i was also asking what needs upgrading if i were to do something crazy or push a lot of boost through a turbo one day.

I mean if u wanna have a big setup down the road id just say do it all at once, motor work tht is. Get pistons, rod, head studs, slaves, valve springs...etc. idk anything else they sell to keep it safe. Thats wht id do...no point in just doin rods and pistons and then leave the gaskets and studs stock. ya digg? THEN u can run any setup ud want
i haven't really seen ZZP's 2.4 turbo build thread so i was wondering what all they did to the internals for their 11 sec 2.4 lol.
sedan! maybe yours because I did the charger swap!
coupe ss/tc! Jeremy and ernie!
coupe ss/sc! torque wrench!

high compression is good. ask josh.. and there's saturn skys and solstice 2.4s out there in the 300-400whp with stock blocks and wutnot..
when i rebuild ill be going with 10.1 comp still with about 18-20 psi
pistons, rods, and a good valve train are really all we need. replacing the stock stuff thats smaller wouldnt hurt at all. thats wut im gonna be doing. since ur auto a built tranny is a necessity and for 5spds most likely a good clutch and cryotreating the internals of the f23 should be enough.
Any of you guys been through Oviedo?

I'm looking for a sky now myself when I get to San Diego. Dumping this POS MK4 GLI that i got after totalling my beloved SS/TC Ron Burgandy. I'm kinda wanting to go the route that Antonio(member on the forum) is going. Wanting to do a Compound Turbo Setup on a Sky Redline. BTW, I'm a Oviedo Florida native. Just joined the Navy and stationed in Hawaii.

well in 3 weeks if these kits are still around i may have a supercharger setup in my hands... i say 3 weeks cuz that gives me time to save up the needed funds... at which point i would skip everything else i planed and just go straight to SC... lol
