the only header it will mate up to directly is the pacesetter because of the ball flange

i realize that.. my main concern is how does it sound.. i hate raspy exhausts. i would be embarrased to drive my car if it soundy raspy and shitty, so i want to have a fulkl exhaust that sounds "good"

its catless, it will still have rasp even with the resonator, just might not be as harsh.

anytime you go catless you risk rasp and the only way to know is to try different combos

We came up with a direct fit downpipe that will bolt up to your pacesetter header. The DP is 2.5" and instead of using the balljoint connection which the header is designed for we went ahead and used a flex instead. The flex is superior to the balljoint design being that it gives you less stress on the manifold.

then i would ditch the pacesetter before you put your header/downpipe on. when i had my 2.2, i LOVED the pacesetter by itself. put on a downpipe, holy hell was it raspy as ****. i drove like a gradma because it was so embarassing. had a resonator welded in, and it was still terrible, but it was better.

tht is the EXACT problem i have now. I think im just going to put the stock DP back on. but it is very restrictive.

i already have a resonator that came with the megan cat back but im sure if i had another resonator in there it would probably help tone the exhaust down a lot. Eventually I wanna get the zzp 3 inch exhaust cause i wanna upgrade to there stuff and i feel in the future im justified for a 3 inch exhaust.

i have a catted zzp header/dp and a magnaflow, and there's zero rasp anywhere in the rpm range. don't know about the catless though.

assuming you've got a resonator on your catback and then a muffler as well it should be fine....didn't know these even existed

i wonder if using this DP will get rid of the exhaust leak sound i've had since i put my Pacesetter on...wish it was out before I ripped up my stock exhaust though!
