b&m shift plus

I have been reading about this for awhile and hav heard good and bad things like its good for the transmission and its bad for it. Well I hav a question. It would sort of be like tow haul on a truck right? It just puts more pressure in the lines for a firmer shift. So I don't really see this as much of a problem to the transmission. Am I right?

im only 16. dont hav the money now. maybe in the future. i was just wondering if it worked like the tow/haul on trucks by just adding more pressure to the transmission lines for a better shift.
