B&M Shiftplus on SS 2.4

Has anyone installed the B&M Shiftplus on a 2.4L SS? Everywhere I look, it seems like these are supposed to be installed on a 2.2L, but I haven't seen much on installing on a 2.4L

I would like to know more about thease too. Do they help performance any? Or do they make it easy to chirp the tires while killing your trannie?

I've got one on my 2.4. It really improves the shifts, makes them quicker and much firmer, you'll notice a big difference. I suggest getting one if you don't have one. Good buy!!

^^ taht has to be a mistake... you cannot buy them for a 2.0 as the SC only comes in a manual

I got mine from CobaltPerformanceParts.com

Well as long as you look at the weight of the rims and don't go to heavy then your good and don't go over 20's with 35 sidewalls, and as for effecting the performance of the ShiftPlus, it won't it just increases the pressure of the hydraulics thru the transmission, and it's sweet totaly worth the money and a huge difference, plus you can bark the tires going into second and if roads are wet spin for a few seconds going into second, I have the 2.4L Auto with the Pireli's.

Just my two cents... hope this helps.

^^^ quicker shifts, less friction, cooler transmission

Our transmissions are built to hand much more pressure than even the shiftplus puts out and even tho that first shift you will be like "there is no way this is good for the tranny"... it really is

Not sure, but go to the B&M site and they let you know what all cars it will work on.

Here's the video I made with my cell phone, I also have Injen CAI.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RllNAfoMEkA

You can compare with your car on regular shifts, I will try and get another video of normal, stage 1, and stage 2 comparisons.

It's hard to do it by myself though, and a little dangerous, pm me and let me know what you think, and if you think I should make the other video.

Got the other videos now, I took them last night so it's a little pixelated because I took it with my cell phone.

Shift + off: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cVvyoENutxg

Shift + stage 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CwXhkjSKGw8

Shift + stage 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ieX7sthPiKY

Between stage 1 and 2 you can't realy tell the difference on the video but there is.
