Best 2.4 auto downpipe?

Ok honestly was going to go with the CTI downpipe but its 3 inches though you can get the 2.5 inch collector though the dp size still seems big and im curious if it would kill off too much lowend torque on an auto car.

Whichever dp I go with will be a catted dp hooked to an slp loudmouth cat.

So opinions on this?

But isnt there a difference between the auto downpipe and the manual downpipe on an LE5 motor?

#1, it fits. I run one on my car
#2, i think they have an atuomatic specific header/DP combo now. It should be in a drop down

Yes, but you may still be okay. If HunterKiller89 is correct, and there is an auto specific unit, great. But even if there isn't, the problem with the LSJ downpipe was that the cat was interfering with the sway bar. The ZZP may have a smaller cat, (should be easy enough to check with Zoomer,) and it will probably be in a slightly different position in the downpipe to the stock LSJ. As long as it clears the sway bar, you are home free.

ZZP says u will only gain 2whp from downpipe..so not worth it.. just get a high flow cat and be done with it

the only restrictive parts of the exhaust are the cat, and from the axle back including the muffler. also the header. just replace the header, get a magnaflow high flow cat, and go to a muffler shop and have them chop off from the axle back and run 2.5" piping and get a muffler to your liking. i would recommend magnaflow for that as well

you dont get a midlength H/DP combo for the DP...you get it for the header, and it is definitely better than any shorty header on the market
