I have the K&N Ram air and it makes quite a difference actually (nothing crazy but maybe 5-10) and I have the GMPP cat-back with the ZZP mid-length 1.5" primaries header/dp combo. it's nice and sounds like an f-in 6 cylinder lol.

Well, for me, the reason I wanna stick with mild setup is my car is gonna remain my daily driver. Once I get close to paying this car off, i'll likely have a TON of miles on it, and will be putting the JBP mild crate engine in as a replacement motor.........and then likely looking for either a TSX or a G35 sedan for my next car to toy around with.

hehe it's ok .. i was going to buy an intake.. till i realized a hood scoop was needed for good gains.. or i needed to cut out my side vents.. to get fresh air... because 250 for 5 hp isn't good enough for me lol .. it's just my prference but then again i'll make it personally because that'll cost about nothing

yeah on my ranger the MAF sensor was a brick, and a common mod was to trim all the extra metal. are there any parts like that (trim speaking) that are on the cobalt?

slight port and reallly good polish
you just want the air to be more consistent really taking out the humps and valley's, and burrs will help out alot with that also widening it out will take a little more advantage of if you have an intake..
