Bad Cat? Sounds like your running really rich and it's not burning everything off.

You have a problem...take it to the dealer and have them check it.

i messed up a month or so back and mixed the gas with 93 87 and 91. but i filled up 2 times after that with full 93. i took it in today and they said everything is fine the motors just cleaning itself out. from siting all winter to driveing 8 miles all back road to work. thats why when i get onto the highway and open it up i get the smell they said. it does sound right to me. ill keep a eye on it and see how it does. i started takeing the highway home from work now but its not much only 1 exit up.

91/93 doesnt matter with these cars.

The tune will treat 91/93 as the same (91).

With that said, black smoke out the exhaust while motor still feels good, is you are running richer than hell.

There's already a how-to. I know lots of guys that swear by the stuff, and it's particularly good for cleaning out the gunk from a motor that been sitting.
