Whenever im slowing down usually up hills, and i drop into like 2nd and break i feels like my break is hitting the ground or something. Which i dont even think that is possible. Im probably just gunna take it into a dealership, anyone have an idea what it "could" be.

no when i hit my brake pedal it feels like its going into the ground.....not my break itself, but the pedal.

 

so....why ar eyou stepping on the brakes when you need to go uphill?? you're confusing hahah

 

when there is a stop sign on the hill..... you would need to stop?

No it doesnt rlly move easilt or to the floor, like it doesnt ever even come close to the floor im gunna bring it to the dealership this week for sure.

 

so, the car stops....the pedal feels good.....and it's not hitting the floor........hmmm

lol im just gunna take it to the dealership , it may only be in the head but i swear something feels like it hits the ground. Idk if its the break or if im hitting the clutch with the break but if it happens tomorrow again im taking it in if not tuesday itll go in.

are you trying to say maybe that it feels like you're reaching maximum pedal travel prematurely?

 

if it feels at all different than it felt before dont drive it. im serious.

you might have lost pressure in ur lines

 

I think what he is trying to say is when he hits the breaks on an incline his breaks seem to hit somthing? May wanna get that thing on some jack stands to fake an incline and check the travel of the break pedal and see whats swinging in the way might just need to reclip somthing.

 

I think:

1. He lives in NY
2. NY has snow
3. Braking in the snow locks your brakes
4. This feels like something underneath the car is hitting the ground

 

x2 my car does this too only for some reason i still feel a little grinding in my brakes but its nothing serious.

When ABS kicks on it feels like grinding, so i second the NY and snow theory

 

oooorrrrrr his pads are to the medal and its grinding because of that.

ahh but they are nice.

 

I guess im assuming he knows what antilock breaks feel like.
