is there a way to "hone" ur stocker to get better flow?

 

no, the manifold is already made

 

im sayin cant i just get my stocker "honed" instead of buyin a GMPP header. i wudnt want to run into problems if i got the 2.4 header.

 

Yeah, you can. I ported a spare manifold myself and saw a nice change in sound and a slight power gain. At least as much as the gmpp manifold. I have my old stock one if someone would want to buy it. Or i could port it if i had access to an air compressor again. I was able to open up the collector by at least a 1/4 inch in diameter without making the walls too thin. There are also dimples right in the opening of the runners that I removed, and basically smoothed and opened the pathways as far as I could. Cheap mod, with great results considering the costs. Also, the sound is cool. Makes my car sound like it has cams at idle. Much deeper and poppier at idle.

I am interested in the Hahn header..when ever it comes out and how much $$$

 

im pretty sure its out...assuming your talkin about the hahn shorty header.....ive seen a few on here with it on...but its pretty pricey

 

yeah it is out. I emailed them $399 but looks like the best there is.
