Camshaft question

Does anyone know if the blank ecotec camshafts from gm can be used for a custom grind for the LE5. I know on crate engine depot they have the parts listed for the 2.0 and 2.2 only but I just want to verify for sure that they can't be used for the 2.4
I checked on the gm site and it didn't list which engines they could be used for.

Obviously the camshaft will need to "mate" with the cam phasing mechanism, but here is the cam specification sheet (PDF) from http://tunersource.gmblogs.com/Racer...FO-SHEET-2.pdf

They say only the LNF (for Forced Induction) and LE5 (NA) VVT cams swap. Good luck with your cam project. What are you trying to achieve with the custom grind? higher lift / lift rate / duration ....
