Can you put the GMPP header on a auto
Can you put the GMPP header on a auto
I know the the issue is the downpipe and not the header it self but maybe the dp cant connect with the header then. I just want to know if anyone has had it put on THEIR OWN 2.4 auto. If you are going to tell me to search please just dont poste i have searched and everyone debates it so i just want to know if anyone has it.
thanks
Also i am going to be getting a tune in the DC VA MD area this summer if anyone else is looking to as well pm me and we can hopefully get a group discount...

If you are talking about the GMPP honed manifold, then yes it is a direct swap, and will bolt right up to any stock downpipe whether auto or manual. The only difference to the stock manifold and the GMPP honed manifold are the interior runners.
That said, I wouldn't spend the money on a GMPP honed manifold unless you can buy a used one reeaallll !!! cheap.

unless you have one already, i would advise buying something else. maybe a badmab.
we found that the gmpp header actually held alot of heat in the head. nothing that would cause damage but just for recovery times after pulls etc.

It will fit just fine its the exact same on the outside as the manifold on your car.
But as others have said and i second youd be better off with a badmab zzp etc etc header.
Especially as cheap as the badmab is!
