Cat-Back Poll
Ok I have been looking around at some cat-backs and the only ones that I found that are true bolt on (no clamps, no welding etc.) are the DCsports and the Ark Speed Racing.
so which one would you all buy if you where in my shoes? (price isn't really a problem) I am going for looks and sound, and power of course.

Well being as I was the first 2.4L Cobalt to rock an ARK cat-back (got the N2 pre-release in Nov '06 thanks to a few phone calls made to ARK
), you know what my vote is.
Now you and I both know the N2 is VERY loud as you've heard my car in person. The DT-S however is supposedly a tad quieter.
Go ARK DT-S!

....but you have your old '86 Corolla listed as your "first and LAST" compact car........yet you owned an Elantra GT and now an SS/TC......both of which are considered sport compact cars.
Tiburon....hatchback....sport compact car.
Last gen Celica....hatchback....sport compact car.
Eclipse....hatchback....sport compact car.
Civic hatchback.....hatchback (well duh)....sport compact car.
My roomate has '00 Civic hatcback. Of course its much smaller than my car....but my Cobalt is still considered a sport compact car.
Hence why you'll find all the cars I listed above in such magazines as Sport Compact Car, HCI, Super Street, Modified..........all of which are designated sport compact car tuning magazines.
I'm not trying to sound like a dick or anything, im just stating that regardless of what your opinion is, a Cobalt....and an Elantra (hatchback or sedan)....are still considered to be part of the sport compact segment.
Now, move up to a Malibu or a Sonata.....and your in the mid-size car segment.
Impala or the new Genesis.....full size cars.
And since you sent me a hateful PM, heres PROOF of what I was trying to state. But since your too full of yourself and choose to take friendly facts the wrong way and instead tell me to "grow up", i'll let edmunds.com do the talking for me.

Whats that I see in that "sport compact comparison"? Yes, a Cobalt.
No-one said anything about being proper.
I was just stating facts....and later proof since you decided to start throwing insults at me. If thats how you wanna defend yourself by telling me to "grow up" or and **** like "you fail".......then more power to ya.
And Dunkinuts, sorry for jacking your thread bro. Hope you get the insight on these cat-backs your looking for
Oh, and a Fit is technically considered a "micro-compact"....don't believe me, look it up. Siphon magazine was created for those, along with Scion xA/xB/xDs, Yaris....etc etc. Just saying. Don't go and PM me more hate mail for stating that. Mmk?

2.25" piping is perfect for a 2.2, but for a 2.4 i'd say 2.5" piping is the way to go.
Megan is definitely good for what you pay though.
u know what? i'm sick as **** being attacked for trying to help out the OP by showing him how the ARK product sounds on another vehicle.......u wanna **** all over the place, fine, pce out *******.
And no one ever attacked you. I asked a simple question. Then you responded with "you fail" and then tried to make an arguement out of it. And naturally, I defended myself.
Its also very obvious you deleted the thread where you attacked me first in an attempt to answer my simple question.
But luckily the quote still stands above on the page.
