Trust me, I know from experience with my ARK N2.
im pretty sure thats not why they sit lower, companys do that to give it that "look"... my hahn has a huge round body muffler and you cant even see it.... to the op, i say dont worry about the clamping or welding and go w/ the magnaflow, looks clean and sounds great.

Well the muffler itself is still larger in diamater than any oval muffler system available for our cars. Plus, since the muffler is angled on the N2, the frontmost part of it hangs extremely low. Trust me....i've scraped it on god only knows how many speedbumps, gas station entrances.....even once when I had to get my car on a flatbed after I broke a few wheelstuds. I love the ARK N2, but if he's looking for an exhaust that isn't super low slung, the N2 should be his last choice. The Magnaflow, Corsa, ARK DT-S and GMPP all tuck up in the bumper like stock.

Notice how low the frontmost part of the muffler hangs. Thats what I scrape from time to time.

thanks for the shots Josh, I don't think I will have to worry about it being to low with the H&R springs sitting higher then most drop springs. I like the look of the angle so i may look into the N1, does the megan have the angle?

again a magnaflow system, the only difference is the price. tubing is tubing. And magnaflow offer a 2.25 and a 2.5 inch system.

Its an N2

And no, Megan dosen't have an angle. Mind you the N2 is about $200 more than the Megan though if your willing to pay the extra dough.
