Cheap Mod?

So... been workin a good bit of overtime during the past weeks, and I've got some dough to spend on my next mod. I've got two choices... both will probably cost the same... so I need some opinions from my esteemed colleagues here in the Cobalt World. (read y'all)

Choice 1: Headlight bulb replacement... PIAA Super Whites... or something comparable... dunno what exact brand yet... suggestions would be a definate plus!

Choice 2: DC Sports strut bar... 'nuff said.

Can't decide... Can't decide...

You always have free mods... Gut your back seat and trunk, thats what I did , Handles SOOO much better, and throttle response due to less weight rocks. Sad I just have the 140 horses though .. After my summer trip I'll get some engine work

I work at an auto parts store, and one thing that a lot of people don't realize is that you're not supposed to touch the headlight bulb glass when you install it (not saying you did that, but its possible). The grease from your fingers gets on the glass, and it significantly shortens the life of the bulb.

Just good to know if you're installing aftermarket lights

Well if you have an SS/SC you can do the boost mod for free. Why waste money on aftermarket lights ? These lights are plenty bright enough. Then you can buy the Strut bar. Strut Bar + boost mod = good investment.

Yeah... on the gutting/weight saving topic... I've already pulled out my spare and jack. The trunk mat has to stay b/c I actually haul things. I have thought about getting rid of the trunk lid liner... as soon as I can get a chance to pull it off. As far as removing the back seats... I dunno... I actually do haul passengers every now and then... how easy is it to do? I'll probably look into it before going to the track this summer.

I dont know what brand and all, I suspect a cheaper one b/c I scored high and low xenon beams for 22 bucks on ebay. One of the low beams just went out after after about 2 weeks. I inspected the bulb and the filliment looked like it detached, not burned, but detached, weird. I followed directions, and I knew not to touch any of the hologen bulbs...
I ended up keeping the high and ditching the lows for the ol factory's. been using the highs for 2 years now and they still work, I'm surprised...
