I have all 3 of those and they're great...never had a CEL or any type of problem with any of it. I'd highly recommend all 3.

it's more expensive and gives less gains than any other header out there. totally not worth it imo. a header doesn't void the warrenty anyways

it may not void the warranty if it did not cause it! like the guy at the dealer told me "In the case of warranty the installation of aftermarket performance parts it only affects the parts involved or parts that may be affected by the install of these parts. example; if you install down pipe and header and you get a service engine soon code and the light comes on in the dash(not covered) and you keep driving and it causes damage because of it (not covered)

but if you put a performance exhaust and the left rear wheel bearing fails that would be covered. as far as performance parts from GM all parts and warranties stay covered."

theres actually only 1 header I know of thats cheaper than the GMPP.
most are more expensive.
but i do agree most headers on the market will give more gains than the gmpp.
but thats on the 2.0
i think the gm manifold would probably do pretty well on a 2.4 or 2.2

The 2.4 has the same manifold as the SS/SC the cobalt addication header is still the best bang for buck out there.

do you have any proof of that?...have all the headers and the manifold been tested against each other? Not being a dick, but unless they've all been tested against each other on the same model car then how do you know?

Ok here's the deal about warranty crap. I've been dealing with it for a month now and have found the solution. No matter what header you get it will not throw a check engine light so your fine. Once you get into downpipes and high flow cats you will start seeing them. The ZZP header is cheap and CA is cheap but I heard it leaks and cracks (poor quality etc.) And another thing, if you so happen to get a aftermarket non-GM header/downpipe/cat and it DOES give a CEL then you are safe still if you get tuned. You can have the light taken off (GM can still see the codes with their device) or you can get it tuned to wear it runs a little bit richer because with the new parts your car will run lean, so just go to autozone and get a couple codes from your car read for free and go to a tuner and he will know what to do so your car's A/F ratio will be fit for no CEL. If there is no CEL they cannot void any warranty and if there is no damage then there is no problem.

I've got all 3 parts also and I love them. Dont have to worry bout any waranty issues. My dealer will fix anything on the car under warranty cause all my parts are GM. Its the way to go

baltracer173 _---> did you have to bring it to the dealer to instal? or you can do it your self? In order to keep the warranty good and have no issuses?

you can install it yourself or have someone do it...doesn't matter. If you're this worried, maybe modding the car isn't for you.

On top of that, most people can't just put on a few parts and call it a day, a lot of us tend to get obsessed and continue to mod our cars even with money problems etc. It's a curse but cars are awesome.
