does anyone know where i could get the megan racing exhaust... All of the sites say its only for the supercharger ones and i have a 2.4l... also the group buys are slow and i want it now....lol Soo yea anyone?

 

all cobalt exhausts are interchageable, i have 2.0 exhaust piping on my 2.2

 

sooo if it says the exhaust is for the cobalt supercharged it will work on my 07 2.4l

 

i have seen the megan racing exhausts on e-bay for around $330

Cheapest, but I wouldn't say the best.

I say the best out there are the Magnaflow, ARK and Corsa cat-backs.

Indeed. I've been rocking the "pure underage jailbate sex" exhaust note (CA header + XTC 2.5" de-cat downpipe + ARK N2 cat-back) for over a year now and im still not tired of hearing it.

 

sooo i have 3 questions... what is the best sounding exhaust overall....what is the loudest exhaust.... and what exhaust has the best idle noise?

 

Search the exhaust thread and hear a clip from most exhausts. I have the ARK catback and it kicks ass. Its not obnoxiously loud but still lets people know your coming. The idle isnt too bad for me either. Youll get different answers from everyone though on best sound. Everyone has different tastes.

 

"best" is a relative term. so you will get tons of different answers. just look up the exhaust clips and listen for yourself.

thats a matter of opinion. Best description for the ARK N2 is juat loud all around, even at idle.

Indeed. HickOverLord used to have just the ARK N2 cat-back on his '06 SS/SC (before he traded it in for an '07 G85 SS/SC), and we compared our exhaust notes side by side, and mine was def much louder. Just take how the ARK N2 sounds and double that basically, and add more burble/crackling, and thats what my exhaust sounds like.
