cold air to fit 08

i have the 08 sport 2.4 ltr and i've been searching around and i havent noticed any specific intakes for the 08, maybe ive just missed it but anyone know a quality brand intake for the 08? or would the 07 2.4lt fit?

K&N is the only intake you really need to look at. I have an 08 also and I gained 11whp from just the intake alone.

hey dunk, did you throw on a bypass filter to prevent hydrolock? or are those just unecessary, also if you could post the link to the intake you got id be great!

have you even looked at the intake he told you to get?

its short ram. the only way you can hydrolock is if you drive through like3 feet of water. at which point a wet air filter is the least of your worries.

im just trying to say that for the N/A cobalts K&N only offers short ram configuration.

thats why i asked if you even looked them up. lol.


K&N is a safe bet if you live in an area that turns into a lake in the spring.

not so great if you live in an area where it gets super hot in the summer as heat soak is more prevalent in short ram intakes.

i have the gm intake. you really dont feel a thing with the k &n or gmpp intake. the difference is sound
