cryo2 question

iv been reading up on the cryo 2 stuff the intake cooler and fuel rail cooler and was wondering if either or both of these are safe to run on my car. i did a search on here but did get much info at all. so is this safe or safer then NOS. also wondering what the power benifits are gona be if i go with this?

on a N/A car it doesnt do to much, but a F/I car it will do a lot. All it mainly does is cool your AIT down and make it more dense which in turn gives you more power. Alot of people do this or the meth injection for the denser air charge and cooler AIT.

This would be safer than both NOS and Water/Meth. The CryO2 doesn't actually enter the system. It sprays CO2 either onto your intercooler or through a bulb that's installed inline with intake. As an added bonus, CO2 is cheap.
On an N/A(Naturally Aspirated) car you would be going with the intake bulb. You will always benefit from having a cooler, more dense volume of air. If you go for the full kit with the purge then you'll get that cool Hollywood effect for the cosmetic aspect.

i plan on using this on my intercooler, only problem is finding a fill station for co2, its easy to find a n2o station but thats more expensive and a waste of money since both are the same temps.

Try a paintball supply store.

I just got rid of my Cryo 2 Setup the other day. You can also go to any fire extinguisher service place and get it filled for around $20.00. It works great.

I'm running the bulb & spray bar, You fill it at a beverage outlet, There are several others that can do it 2. Mine has maxed my 42lbs ie: no more power to be had, But my intake temps stay cool as sh#t when on the dyno. I pull the same #'s within 3 hp on every run.. No heat soak!

It all depends on what you are doing, If you are going to the track & running it hard. Yes it is worth it, cools better than a ice box & last longer plus it cools the car down quick. The New turbos will see even better gains, me I use it to maintain cool op temps after repeated runs>>> Less heat means more constant power with out heat soak loss which no 1 really takes seriously.
No the bulb doesn't restrict the airflow I dynoed before install & after with no affects what so ever.
When in use think of it like this: If you blow up a ballon at room temps & then you put it in the freezer it will shrink, because cold air same volume takes up less space which means you can pack more in the same space! Increaseing your air volume packed in the cylinder means you can put in more fuel or burn off extra if the car is running rich!
Hope that helps ya!
