Dc Sports catback system
it'll fit, but b/c of the small piping diamater, you won't really get much performance gains. The 2.25" piping is barely even sufficent for a 2.2. Even my friends 2.0 liter Focus has a 2.5" cat-back on it. For the 2.4SS models, I reccomend a 2.5" exhaust such as Corsa, Magnaflow, or what I have, ARK, as you'll see much better gains in hp/tq by opeing up your exhaust. However, don't go w/ a 3", as they are a bit too big for us 2.4s, and are aimed more at the SS/SC models.

you have any proof that 2.5 is better then 2.25 in a small displacment, small hp output n/a engine?
2 1/4 is definetly enough for your needs
Uh, actually I do. I'll see if my friend can find me his dyno sheets from his Focus and see if I can scan them to the puter. He originally had a Tru-Benz 2.25" cat-back (stock header + intake) and all) on his '07 Focus, and later switched to a 2.5" Tru-Benz (still stock header + intake), and even on a small little 2.0 n/a motor, it gained about 4hp and 4ft-lbs tq throughout most of the power band. Plus, 2.25" is tiny on a 2.4 liter engine.......and is worthless if you plan on ever doing any real motor mods. My friend Kris, who also has a Focus ('05, same engine/bodystyle as the '07) had a 2.25" #1 cat-back on his car, paired with a Cosworth header, and it was sufficent enough, but then once he put the Cosworth tb/intake manifold, SCT tune, a forged crank and low compression pistons, it didnt hold up. In fact, the exahaust actually blew a weld while he was racing around one night. He's since switched to a Cosworth 2.5" and said has had no problems since, and also says the car feels a bit peppier/quicker too. 2.25" is basically stock size.....why buy a stock size exhaust with a big flashy muffler?
