the high compression on the 2.4 engine will not automatically make it respond better, the high compression will limit how much boost the 2.4 can run meaning that the 2.2 with slightly lower compression will be able to add that extra 1 or 2 psi to make up for the lower compression, i think on stock transmissions and internals both engines will be able to make 250 whp and be stuck there till upgrading both internals and trannys especially the auto tranny

I just wish turbo didnt void the warrenty! So I have some time to save up for a turbo when it comes out.

well the compnay wanted to see interest and i told them to watch this thread to see the interest i dont know what else i could do since there are no details, i did post the link to them though

i just got my cobalt a week ago and i'm already wanting a turbo! due to the fact that i couldn't get the ss/sc because fo financial reasons... my car broke down and i had been saving... but had to get a new car earlier than expected! but i'm definitely ready for the turbo... bring it on guys!
