Question Does a Magnaflow catback do anygood...

to the car if the headers arnt changed??? If i put a magnaflow catback on will it make a difference or should i wait and get the header first and then install the magnaflow?

A Magnaflow exhaust alone will get you a good amount of increase in HP... I would guess 8-12 HP

I did both at the same time and I love it. The magnaflow is awesome, and paired with the CA header its just a beautiful tone. Just make sure you shop around for the magnaflow cause you can get it for a much better price than magnaflow asks.

yeah magnaflow is not that big dimension wise that is why its a better cat back specially if you have a forced induction car like the ss/sc

I'm getting it for 200 plus 50 more for installation but its used??? Is that good?

If you are buying the exhaust for 200 that is the best damn price in the world lol. I paid 500 new through ebay, but I got lucky, picked up the last one at that price. The cheapest Ive seen since then is around 600. But magnaflow wants 800 or so for it brand new. So I guess my answer is yes, that is an awesome price, as long as it is in good condition

the catback system will give u hp...like said before 8-12 hp increase to the crank i believe but adding headers d/p intake will open her even more......
