Question Downpipe

I'm quite curious about downpipes for my 2.4. I've read that a 2.5in would be perfect for NA 2.4's but is there a noticeable difference in performance, compared to stock? I know there's one in sound lol. Just trying to do little mods here and there. And is anyone selling one by any chance? I can't seem to post in the classifieds because I'm a new member I'm guessing. Thanks!

You won't notice any real power gains with just a downpipe honestly. But yes the 2.5inch is good.

I have one. It's 2.5" and catless. For a manual. Is yours auto or manual? I loved having an aftermarket dp. It made the car feel better on the butt dyno for sure. I drive a ss/tc now so my old zzp dp doesn't work. But my catless zzp dp for my lnf will be here soon.

Mines an auto, wish I had a manual haha. Kinda want a DP now. A DP with a CAI, do you think I'd def notice a gain? I've read that DP adds about 10HP or so. How do you like the TC?

Don't waste your money you won't see a real noticeable gain save your money and add boost to your ride.

LOL I wish I could, I'm better off buying a TC/SC coupe then getting a TC/SC kit for my car.

I thought it was worth it. A tune really helped. I love the tc. It's a totally different animal. Obviously. Lol. But I love it. I also loved modding my g5 though.

Maybe if my car didn't have all the miles it has on it already, I'd highly consider SCing it haha

You will be sub 200whp with a fully bolted and tuned 2.4. If you want it to be pretty quick sc or turbo it.

Mine had a GMPP intake, and I put a header and LSJ downpipe as a cheap fix/upgrade to the broken flex, and my car pulls much harder now than before and spins in second
