Drilled Rotors Installed

Just mentioning that I installed my rotors today. I have about a centimeter of pad left and the old rotors were wavy....

Drilled rotors seem to take a bit more foot pressure to stop while they are cold.

I might post pics if I ever get around to it. Youll see my dirty rims and the rotors, thats about it.

I ordered from Autp Anything.com, They shipped my product for free. Turbotechracing.com has good track history for me, even though ive ordered one thing from them.

On my next set of rotors, im opting for brembo blanks.

I believe turbotechracing.com has brembo blanks for sale.

I wish I would have listened to them and purchased them.

Actually, Slotted would have been the way to go.

with the solid mounts you have on your car, do you notice a ton of vibration from the motor?

yes i do... i get a **** load of vibrations... im actually takin out my trans mounts and just keeping the motor mount.. ive got enough power to keep it from wheel hoping now anyway so it should be all good. everyones car is different though... it also depends on the type of mounts yuou get... I've got CA mounts... the turbotechracing mounts i don't think will give u as much vibs but im not postive... hope that helps

I got the eBay rotors but they came from R1Concepts, sweet service and I like them so far. And if anyone does their own install remmeber the front calipers compress while the backs you have to twist in clockwise due to the e-brake.

well, the good news is that the rotors stop. When they are cold, it brakes like ive been driving with my foot slammed on the brake. But once they are warm they do well. so much more brake dust from them though.

The stock pads are what make the brake dust.........they're absolutely terrible.

I got my Powerslot rotors for 160 bucks for the set of four. Made a huge difference in stopping power, even with stock pads. The brake dust got too bad so I got myself some Hawk HPS pads, and I think it's a great setup for a DD/Commuter.

My Powerslots

I have Powerslots + Hawk HPS pads on all four corners. Noticeable difference in braking power. Only thing is, the Hawk's squeal a little bit more than stock.

I just had my powerslots installed last weekend along with Hawks ceramic pads.....Love them, no squeal and very little brake dust.
