ECM names for cobalt 2.4, solstice2.4 and sky 2.4 the same?

ECM names for cobalt 2.4, solstice2.4 and sky 2.4 the same?

are the computers the same in all 3 cars since we all use the 2.4 ecotec? id like to know so i can talk to my tuner. thanks guys.

sky and the solstice, maybe... cobalt... doubtful. Sky and solstice are RWD, probably a different ECU

ok just got a pm saying that all 3 cars use the same ecu. does everyone concur?

You might want to find a tuner that has done the cobalt 2.4 and the solstice/sky and see what they have to say before you make any other moves.

well i already bought the garrett turbo kit so im in it for the long run at this point lol, now i just need to buy a tranny cooler once i figure out which one i want then im good

Tuning isnt going to be a problem i can tell you that for sure, but im not sure if its the same ECU as the sky/solstice.

pretty sure they are programmed diffrent --6900 rpm redline on Sky/Solstice--might be a few other minor differences

well i just cant wait to get started on this, i hope it wont take too long to get the kit in, i had to go thru jrp online and i guess they have to get the kit from garrett then ship it to me.

what'd you end up paying for the kit? I think i may just get the piping/cooler setup from garrett and go with my own turbo/tuning etc... if they'll even sell their piping etc, seperatly.

I paid $2600 for the gt tuner kit which is the only kit that includes the piping, ball bearing turbo, intercooler, manifold, oil and water lines, and intake piping, i dont think they sell the piping by itself though.
