Injector harness or different ends?

Well my turbo has been ordered and my installer wants to change my injectors to 42#'s and he says he can do that by clipping the ends of the existing harness and changing all the clips to accept bosch injectors. Now thats fine with me at this point but i wanted to make sure that is a feasable option that wont become a problem in any way as i dont know much about injectors. he says he can do that for like $20. I know there is a way to change the harness to a 2.2/2.0 style by buying a 2.2 harness from the dealer (not sure of the right part #) but if i dont have to do that then i dont want to. Whats everyones opinion on this?

i'd just buy it.

that way, if you ever want to go back, you can AND, i've never seen a harness that was happy that you spliced it.
