Eibach sportline update

Just a follow up on my impression. 07 SS 2.4 5spd . Installed at 500 miles on the car, now at 3200. Absolutely love the look. Ride is firm to occasionally harsh.. but totally acceptable. Def. prefer it over the pillow feel the stock springs provided. I also get a kick out of the stock ss/sc owners wondering why my "inferior" SS looks meaner than their ride. Trust me.. the puzzled look on their faces are priceless Then again, most of the SC owners around here are older than my 32yr old ****. Mods R beneath them. But I still get a kick.

Now the BAD.......

From day one my rears were clicking and popping over small bumps at low speeds. Primarily the passenger rear. Originally I left the bump stops alone. Then I decided to cut them. Same result Click pop click...annoying and junky sounding. Then I tried turning the springs so that the pigtail on the bottom was at different positions. No luck so far. Im at the point where I've memorized the spots on the road that "trigger" the clicks and I avoid them at all costs. Makes me look like a drunk driver. By the way.. I am now getting those clicks/clunks over medium speeds. Sigh....
But I'll tell you what--> I will not go back to that 4x4 look stock spring. There has to be an answer. And I will find it lol.

i'm pretty sure it's the rear shocks.. they're not meant to take the different center of weight. or the extra stress

Sounds like the strut mounts are gone.

if it's the rear.. then the strut mounts aren't gone because there are no struts back there

it's the shocks.

i just aligned mine. no shims and it's fine.

No alignment yet and no shims. Whatever their for It's just the rears, fronts are fine so far. Been thinking about getting the konis. SO expensive though. Maybe I'll just get the rears first to see if the problem goes away. Lol talk about a wacky suspension setup. Before I get hated on...I AM going to get an alignment done eventually. Working 3rd shift (sleeping all day) and dealing with my girl and the twins that are going to pop outta her eventually is soaking up all my time. (wow..can u say run on sentance?)
