engine mods

i want to do some engine mods but what are some simple cheap mods for my 2006 2.4l SS

Intake and exhaust are simple and provide a mild performance gain.

Also just look at the Sticky: 2.4L Performance Modification List up top on the 2.4L forum page.

As stated here, the most popular setup is:

Injen Intake
Vibrant Header/downpipe/highflow cat setup (comes as a complete kit "all-in-one")
Magnaflow cat-back exhaust
