Exclamation engine swap, now car wont crank over

We just got done installing the new motor, and the car wont even crank over

odd notes:

the radio stays on even when the doors closed and keys out and locked?
no security light, no cel,

the car just wont crank over, everything else works, the starter is getting power too

From my recollection you can't just swap a motor in. You have to do a whole learn of the new motor to the ecm for it to crank due to the increased security theft deterrents in newer vehicles

this is not true. i swapped engines without any relearn. i simply installed my base turbo tune and it turned over. i suggest you check your grounds we had no issues with my build and install but i had a certified pro installing it in his garage. the **** ass never missed a beat. is the valvecover gronded to the head? recheck all youre grounds and connections.

He speaks the truth. I missed the ground from my starter to the bellhousing and it wouldn't crank. You've missed a ground somewhere.
