exhaust

Just a couple of quick questions...

Anyone get an exhaust from the custom exhaust from the 2.4 mod list?
The price is beautiful but i dont really want to skip on quality cause im planning on keeping the car.
heres the link http://www.mandrelexhaustsystems.com...alt/Categories

ALso why do all 2.4L go 2.5" instead for 3"? bigger exhaust = more flow= more power right? or is 3" gonna eff up low end torque?

Thanks

No. If you want quality get something that is all stainless steel so it won't rust in a couple of years.

I have heard good things about that exhaust. go with the 2.5" you don't need 3" on a 2.4 unless your going F/I. backpressure...do a search, it will help!

the basic note is, if you get to big of tubing then the exhaust gases cool down to much and slow their flow. But if its to small then it restricts flow. and then there is the whole harmonics of the cylinders firing and the pulsing of the gases.
