Exhaust Question

OK, so I am looking at doing a muffler on my car, hopefully paired with a header
now, my question is, would this ^^ give me more power than doing a catback?

and does anyone have a dynomax muffler? which one? how is it?
any links to sound?

thanks guys

if u do just a muffler id suggest a magnaflow. pair it up wit a CA shorty header, it should give u some more hp

OH

you had the arrows pointing to muffler in the OP

lol

me = fail late at night.

uhhhhhh. yeah really depends on the header. and instead of a muff you should get header and dp. just get a set.

it wont be horrendously loud and will be much better than stock. lol.

save your self the money and buy stuff once, so just buy a muffler you want and then buy a catback dont waste your money on welding a muffler to your stock system unless all you want is a different sound and not a power gain

I had header and downpipe connected to a tsudo exhaust and it was extremely loud. If you wanna go the cheapest route all you need to do is cut out the 2.25 section at the end of your exhaust and replace it with 2.5 inch piping and weld a muffler on. Then you'll have a full 2.5 inch exhaust. And i'm actually thinking of getting the dynomax super turbo muffler myself i heard a few youtube vids and it gives a good tune not too loud and has a nice mellow tone.
