well i see in your pics you already have a intake so thats a good start already. After that I would get a header/down pipe combo from clearimage as thats the header i have and its very good and opened my car up big time. After that theres exhaust now alot of people will tell you to get after market exhaust, however the ss/sc and 2.4ss have already 2.5 inch piping until the rear axle where it then goes down to 2.25 piping. You should get the 2.25 piping replaced with 2.5 inch piping and then add a nice muffler like a magnaflow and then you'll have a cheap but nice 2.5 inch exhaust for way less. After that get a tune either from hpt or trifecta as there both really good companys. With all that done you'll be in the area of about 175whp or about 200bhp, which will give you some good overal performance and wont break your bank account to do it. Now if bolt ons arent enuff then its either turbo or supercharge both have their advantages and week points.

If you click on the link in my signature you'll get a list of all the headers, downpipes, and cat-back exhausts available for the 2.4L engine along with videoclips so you can see what they look and sound like. As far as size goes stick with the 2.5" exhausts.

Clearimage will be cheaper than vibrant as you can choose either stanless steel or go mild steel and get it ceramic coated.

Shorty header is a waste of time. You either want 4-2-1 header which will give you more low end power or 4-1(long tube) which will give you more high end power. I got the 4-1 header from clearimage with a 2.5 inch down pipe and highflow cat. I've gained good power from it and personally like my powerband in the high end. But both styles of headers are good and give great power to your car.
