exhaust stinks

the other day i was at the gas station getting gas and i noticed after the car was off a rotten egg kinds smell from my tail pipe. someone said it might have been bad gas that was in the car. so i filled the tank with new gas from a difforent station and 2 days ago it was doing it again when i pulled into my garage. last night i pulled in the garage walked to the back of the car and smelled the exhaust and it wasint doing it. is this normal? theres no lights on car runs fine the temps stays 180-190 no loss of power that i can tell. i run 93 in it i have the gmpp exhaust but thats all for exhaust work.

it will smell like that if you are driving the car hard, if the smell went away thats what it is. if it constantly smells like that, your cats gone

This. Take it to the dealer and they should take care of it for free.

key word being SHOULD. i know from experience that dealerships are nothing but thieves.

they'll try to pull some bullshit like your intake which is a GMPP product caused the defect so we won't cover it. point being that they try to find ANY reason as to why their shoddy workmanship was not the cause of the problem.

good luck OP if you do take it in to them.

Oh goodie, I have the LSJ cat on my car. Wouldnt matter if it needed to be recalled since I smashed out all of the cat material with a crow bar.

A rich afr can cause exhaust to smell like sulfur, which can also eventually lead to a clogged cat. Is everything else working perfectly fine?
