Exhausts

Hey all,
I know there have been quite a few exhaust threads, but I haven't found one through reading past threads that I have found helpful. I'm looking for a pretty quiet aftermarket exhaust, but that has at least a gentle rumble. Idk if this exists, but I don't want a loud exhaust really. Any suggestions or ideas?? I'm still new to the modding world so I'm just trying to learn some stuff haha.

Dynomax or borla mufflers, magnaflow might a little louder. If still loud for you put a longer resonator.
I'm in the process of trying a ss/tc muffler to see if it gives me that deep tone of the ss/tc of course I'm boosted

agreed dynomax or magnaflow are good choices. I personally have a dynomax super turbo muffler and love the sound it gives and it's not loud at all.

I've got a dynomax muffler and it is great. not many people know that it is possible to have a good sounding exhaust that isnt really loud.

i loved my Super turbo, but i had hacked it onto the stock piping. when a great deal came up on a Megan i took it, and with my new header and DP its too loud. im looking to go back to a turbo style muffler again.

Yeah check YouTube. And look Google shopping for it, just check for legit websites. Or go straight to their website and look up twirling vendors.

Here you go. Cheapest place to buy it. This is the exact one you'll need for you car.

Dynomax Performance 17733 - Dynomax Super Turbo Mufflers - Overview - SummitRacing.com

Forgot to add you'll need this along with your muffler then you'll have a custom 2.5 inch exhaust as this replaces the 2.25 section of your stock exhaust. This is what I did for my 2.4 and it sounds great.

ok so i need that muffler and then this extra pipe in order for it to fit properly. cool thanks for the help. btw will this help with any performance at all or just basically for a better sound? I know it wouldn't really be a big increase in power anyways, but didn't know if it would do something.

You'll notice some difference yes as compared to your stock exhaust. If you get header and downpipe you'll notice a bit more power.

You can get a new Badmab header for 190, and a DP for another 150 or so from ZZP.
