im not sure if any of you guys know it or not but spec has finally developed a clutch for us....heres what david from spec sent me...

I have all 7 stages and billet flywheel for the 2.4L n/a Cobalt SS. I can ship as early as Friday. They just have not been put on the site yet, but likely will be on our site by tomorrow. The st2 to mount to your factory flywheel is no problem. But the factory design is a dead end, so we developed a clutch and rebuildable billet flywheel combo that eliminates the OE SAC mech plate design. For when you go turbo, or even now, that would be nice.

...im looking at getting a stage 2+ clutch possibly..not sure....which clutch would be better for the 250-300 area?...stg 2+ or stg 3?

 

I would say stage 2+ or stage 3+ they are flat out an awesome clutch. If you can email me at Aaron@TurboTechRacing.com with a request, I should be able to get you 10% off the price SPEC will sell it to you for online, as we are a direct dealer for SPEC.

Does anyone know if the Ion with the 2.4 use's the same clutch/ flywheel as the cobalt?

 

already own this a local performance store carrys alot of **** and orders alot of my stuff for me so any of u boys from illinois need a hook up just let me know... very good invest and happy! go stage 3 by the way
