flowmaster 40 series

so i have decided that i am not allowed days off in which i cant spend time with my fiance, because i always find a was to spend money. today i was dropping off some golfing shoes for my future father in law and i drove past bucky's brakes radiator and muffler shop, my memory then kicked in. 2 years ago with my old t-bird i stopped in because the bung that helf in my driver side 02 sensor was stripped, they fixed it for FREE so i promised some day i owuld come back and have them do some exhaust work that i would pay for. so i swung in there and kept my word, i was going to have my resonator replaced with straight pipe, but i decided that since it sits totally straight in line with the rest of hte pipe and doest seem to restrict too much, i just had them replace my stock muffler with a flowmaster 40 series, and then i had them put my factory tip on it. fist thing i noticed is that it doestn stick out like a POS as it did from the factory, he tucked it back so it barely gets past the bumper, which looks very nice, and then he started it! man it sounds really good for a 4 banger, not all high pitched and crackly like a honda, but deep and throaty like a subaru almost. anyways i like it, anybody else have exaust done on their 2.4?

Talking Got the Chevy Racing Exhaust and Love it

I recently got my Cobalt SS 2.4L and had the dealership add the Chevy Racing exhaust, as well as an aftermarket Exhaust Header, and Holy Crap. First off, the car is awesome and can stand up stock against most "tricked out" wheelie deelies. Add the exhaust which now sounds like a freaking thunder clap when the car is IDLE, and whoa, it's great. Congrats on the awesome muffy, and kudos for that awesome sound man!

I may not have a 2.4, but I got a 40 series on my 2.0 and after a month I couldn't bare to listen to the damn thing anymore so I got a magnaflow.
IMO

IJDM Which 50 did you get offset wise? Was it the offset in and out, or center in and out? Also if you have any sound clips I would really appreactiate it. I was thinking of getting the 50 because I thought the 40 would be too much on a 4 cylinder.
