is there a lighter flywheel for the 2.4? would it be worth it? would there have to be any other add-ons to support the flywheel (i doubt it but i am just asking to make sure)

Not the auto, they use flex plates. Just the Manual

should get more power to the wheels, cause its supposed to be lighter...less rotating mass

yeah it will free up HP for ex. a stock flywheel uses 25hp to rotate and an aftermarket flywheel only uses 12hp to rotate it.

you can rev faster - it brings up hp also (more like 'frees up hp') - its better for drag racing if you know how to shift because you can reach the top of your rpm range quicker - however if you cannot shift fast enough you can drop out of your power band
