G5 dyno

i went today and had the G5 dynoed again. with the GMPP INTAKE,GMPP CAT BACK it did 165whp and 162 wtq i am very happy with the number she put down haha. i thought at best 158 i didnt think it would but down 165. i am very happy with that. the place is going to tune my car in the spring once he finds out more info on my motor.

Alittle tune and leaning that bad boy out and I bet you could pull 170hp

These 2.4's react so well to bolt on's I cant beleive it.

im going to get it tuned in the spring. they dyno guy is going to look up some stuff then let me no. i still cant belive it put out those number. time to get to the track! lol

right on man good numbers i sould see what im getting out of my GT i got a the tune and the injector swap and a bunch more and i only thought i would be 160. great numbers man and car looks good.

thanks man. next i want to get the g5 rksport hood . then after that the tuneing will start. this car has taken to all the stuff i have done to it very well. i am happy with this car alot.

yea definitely get that, i would imagine the hood closed will affect it a lot. =) please post pics when you get the hood coz im considering that myself keep it up

You will love the tune I got one done and I love it. I suggest you tune for 93. I am tune for 89 right now but retuneing for 93 shortly.

Nobody noticed (at the top right), the new dyno is "CF: UNCORRECTED". That means that no factoring was done for air temps, baro, etc. Not really a valid comparison.

well his baseline was done the same way if I remember correcly so..

it still netted him +12whp +11wtq which is very good.

Baseline is CF: SAE, which is corrected. It does make a diff, how much is depending upon condiitions.

Which is my point about an invalid comparison.

what they did on the dyno the first time i had the car done is the same thing they did the sec time around. they put the air fuel thing in the tail pipe and ran my car on a dyno jet just like the first place. the new graph does not she my a/f reading like my other graph does.

im going to look around to see whos the best for tuneing cars. i was impressed the car hit 130mph on the dyno haha

thats why i did it. i wanted to see what stock it did and with gmpp stuff. right now im saveing for the rkpsort hood. maybe in a few more weeks ill get it. then after that im geting the windows tinted.
